“Holding the thread.”

The thread

There is a thread running through everything I do.

It passes through a production floor, where a rule becomes a safe gesture. Through a meeting room, where a conflict becomes a conversation again. Through a table covered in paint, where a team watches itself work for the first time. Through a family learning to separate without breaking.

They look like distant worlds. They are the same work: people, and what happens between them.

I do not bring ready-made answers. I bring a thread: it connects, it orients, it guides. The rest we choose together: the direction, the pace, the destination.

My name is Sabrina Terraroli. I walk with you.

About

Two worlds, one method

I have always moved between two worlds that rarely talk to each other: workplace safety and human development.

I entered safety from the inside, as an H&S specialist and RSPP (the safety officer role defined by Italian law), and I still practice it. Today I train workers, supervisors, managers and safety reps under Italy’s Legislative Decree 81/08, and I teach Safety Coaching for AIAS Academy.

On the human side, I am an Executive Coach with an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation and a family mediator, A.I.Me.F. member no. 2611. With MINDArtLab, the project I run with Paola Sabbatini, I bring art into organizations: experiential labs where teams watch themselves communicate, decide and collaborate.

My education holds the two worlds together: Education Sciences and Work Psychology. So does my experience, from multinationals to small firms.

The method never changes. Listening, experience, no ready-made answers. And a red thread that connects, orients and guides.

“We do not see things as they are, but as we are.”
C.G. Jung, the epigraph of my method

“Untying the knots, holding the thread.”

An unmanaged conflict does not stand still: it grows. It can be transformed.

For companies

Seven paths, a single thread

Training, coaching and facilitation for HR, HSE, Welfare and DEI decision-makers: safety under Legislative Decree 81/08, soft skills, inclusion, conflict, safety coaching, teams and care. Tailor-made, experiential, delivered directly or through your training provider.

Workplace safety training

From rule to awareness: safety as a choice

Every HSE manager knows the risk of mandatory training: a signed attendance sheet that changes nothing on the floor. I design courses for workers, supervisors, managers and safety reps in line with Legislative Decree 81/08 and the State-Regions Agreement, and I design them as someone who practices safety as an RSPP, not someone who only teaches it. Experiential modules, real cases, shop-floor language. The result shows after the course: rules that become gestures, supervisors who step in, risks reported early instead of explained late.

Soft skills

Effective relationships, stronger teams, more aware leadership

Technical skills get people hired. Transversal skills make a team work, and they are the first to fail when pressure rises. I design tailored programs on communication, collaboration, leadership and change management, always experiential: people try, fail and try again in the room, not on the customer. The change shows where it matters: meetings, feedback, handovers.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Communicating respect, valuing difference, building belonging

A DEI policy can be written in a day. It is everyday language that decides whether it becomes culture or stays a poster. I work through training and experiential labs on cognitive bias, inclusive language, gender equity, ageism, disability and cultural diversity: not to point at culprits, but to give people concrete tools. The observable result: words that change in meetings and job postings, biases that get named, and a sense of belonging you can feel before you can measure it.

Conflict transformation

Making room for honest conversation, turning tension into change

An unmanaged conflict does not stand still: it grows, and it presents its bill in climate, productivity and turnover. As a professional mediator I bring two tools into companies. Experiential training, to recognize how conflict works and turn confrontation into collaboration. And professional supervision: structured time in which a team rereads its own experience with an outside guide. The result shows early: tensions named while they are still small, conversations replacing silence, teams getting back to work.

Safety coaching

Coaching where behavior is born: in the field

After the course comes the shop floor: that is where safety is actually decided, and where habit beats regulation. Safety coaching applies coaching techniques to safety, in the classroom and directly in the field, in the worker’s own operational context. You observe the real gesture, talk about it without blame, and build the safe alternative together. It is the method I also teach to HSE professionals as the instructor of AIAS Academy’s Safety Coaching course.

Team facilitation

Unlocking a group’s potential to become a team

There are meetings where three people talk and nobody decides. And projects stalled not for lack of skill, but for lack of well-run conversations. As a facilitator I bring method and neutrality: visual facilitation, world café, role play and simulations, chosen for the group’s goal, whether it is a project committee, a functional area or a team in transformation. At the end, the difference is visible: everyone has spoken, decisions are written down, and everyone knows what to do on Monday.

Humanizing care

From procedure to relationship: listening, empathy and well-being as part of care

In healthcare and social-care organizations, clinical quality is not enough: patients and families remember above all how they were treated, and care teams wear out precisely on the relational front. I bring experiential training and guided peer-exchange spaces on listening, empathy and difficult conversations, with a mediator’s and a coach’s method. Because the relationship is not the garnish of care: it is part of the care. And it can be trained, protecting the people who care for others every day.

The golden thread

MINDArtLab

a method by Sabrina Terraroli

MINDArtLab brings art into companies as a working tool: experiential labs where teams watch themselves communicate, decide and collaborate. No artistic skill required. Just being there.

MINDArtLab is the project through which I bring art into organizations, created and run with Paola Sabbatini. It is not an art class and requires no artistic skill: the artwork is a mirror in which the group sees its own real dynamics.

Faced with a piece to build together, with no ready-made instructions, true behaviors surface: who decides, who steps back, how mistakes, time and disagreement are handled. That material is precious, and it needs guiding. So every lab follows the experiential learning cycle: from experience to reflection, from learning to application back at work.

Six catalog formats train six competencies: communication, collaboration, conscious leadership, negotiation, change management, emotional intelligence. And every program is designed with HR, L&D, Welfare or DEI, tailored to the organization: so that it serves the business, not just the memory of a pleasant day.

The method in four steps

01

Experience

The group steps into a concrete, hands-on artistic task. No script, no right answer: just a new situation to face together. Defenses come down, and real behaviors surface.

02

Reflection

The lab pauses and looks at itself. What just happened at the table? Who decided, who adapted, where did tension appear? Facilitation turns the experience into precise, judgment-free observations.

03

Learning

From those observations come the lessons: individual and group patterns, what helps and what gets in the way. This is the shift from the artistic scene to the organizational dynamic: naming what usually stays invisible.

04

Application

Every lesson returns to daily work: concrete commitments, behaviors to try, situations to recognize. This is where the lab stops being an event and becomes a transferred skill.

Let’s talk in an exploratory conversation

People & families

Different registers, the same craft

Alongside the work with organizations there is the work with people: a private, protected space where something can change.

Life & executive coaching

There is a moment when you realize the next step is not out there, but inside you: a new role, a decision you keep postponing, the sense that you are worth more than this. Coaching is a space of your own, confidential, in person or online, where you rediscover your resources and turn them into choices. I will not hand you ready-made answers: I will ask the right questions, and we will build a concrete plan together. I am an ICF-credentialed coach (ACC): the journey has a method, as well as a heart. And when your company sponsors the coaching, we start as three: you, your organization and me, so your growth and its goals move together.

Family mediation

Separating is one of the hardest things a family can go through. Family mediation is a private, protected space where you can talk to each other again: not to reopen the conflict, but to build concrete agreements about children, time and new routines. I am a family mediator, A.I.Me.F. member no. 2611. And I also work with the children themselves, through support groups for children of separated parents: a space among peers where emotions and experiences find their words. Because you remain parents, even when you stop being a couple.

Schools and young people

School teaches reading and writing. Listening, respect and handling conflict can be learned the same way: with someone who teaches them. Through school mediation I work on these skills with students and teachers, to prevent dynamics of isolation and conflict. And through orientation coaching I help young people choose their path after school: starting from their talents, not just from the trends of the moment.

Real questions

What companies actually ask

What does a program cost?

There is no one-size price list, because I do not sell off-the-shelf modules: every project is built on objectives, group size and format. The quote comes after the exploratory conversation, which commits you to nothing, and it is transparent: what is included, how many days, which materials. I work both directly and through training companies.

How long does a program last?

It depends on the format: a MINDArtLab session can live in a single day, while a training or coaching program unfolds over several sessions spread across time. For mandatory safety training, the durations set by the State-Regions Agreement apply. The exact length is defined at the design stage, around the objective: never the other way round.

Where do the sessions take place?

At your site, in your spaces: classroom, meeting room or shop floor, depending on the format. Safety coaching, in particular, also happens directly in the field, in the operational context. My base is in Azzano San Paolo, near Bergamo; travel is agreed at the project stage.

Can it be done online?

Coaching and one-to-one sessions, yes: they work well remotely, and many programs alternate between in-person and online. Experiential labs and active training give their best in person, because they work on what happens between people. At the design stage we choose the most honest format for the goal.

How many participants per group?

There is no single number: a supervision group, a safety classroom and an art lab each have their own ideal size. The rule that never changes is that everyone must be able to take part, not just attend. The right number for your case is defined together at the design stage.

How are results measured?

By starting from the end: before the program we define with you what you want to see change, in observable behaviors. At the end there is always a structured debrief for the sponsor; coaching programs work on a concrete, verifiable growth plan. I do not promise percentages: I tell you what to observe, and where.

Do the safety courses count as mandatory training?

Yes, that is their home ground: I am a qualified trainer under Italy’s Ministerial Decree of 6 March 2013, listed on the National Labour Inspectorate’s register. Courses for workers, supervisors, managers and safety reps are designed in line with Legislative Decree 81/08 and the State-Regions Agreement. Certificates and formal requirements are defined with your HSE team at the design stage.

Do you work directly, or through our training provider?

Both. I have long worked with training companies and gladly continue to: if you have a trusted provider, I can join their projects. And I work directly with companies that prefer a relationship without intermediaries. What never changes is the method.
